Description: Based on the outskirts of Birmingham our client is a reputable 4 star hotel who are looking to recruit a Revenue Manager. This job would suit an individual with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Revenue role, within the hotel sector. The successful individual will be commercial focused, analytically minded and a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. You will be a highly organised team player with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task, also with experience of using office applications and leisure-based reservation systems are preferred. Job Responsibilities: ·To lead the creation and implementation of a robust 3 year plan for the hotels revenue management, delivered by the revenue and reservations team. ·To support the creation of a robust wish want walk rate strategy. ·To present to a board of directors the hotel’s revenue performance, discussing RGI performance and market observations. ·Based on prior experience, to write and implement a full suite of Reservation and Revenue SOP’s for a multi property, multi product environment. ·To develop and drive revenue strategies to optimise all available space through all distribution channels. ·Lead the analysis of data. Independently review RGI and implement pricing strategies all segments of the hotel’s business. Inventory Control ·Proactively manages and maintains Group and Transient inventory and rate controls. ·Works with Front Office to ensure agreed Sell to Capacity strategies are in place. ·Maintains rate parity with third party sites through extranet sites. Sales and Pricing Strategy ·Develops, monitors and adjusts sales and pricing strategies. ·Weekly reviews of PMS reports to address concerns and action plans relating to groups, meetings & events. ·Ensure price parity across all distribution channels. ·Reviews end of month room statistics reports and provide critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts and results of implemented strategies. ·Conducts displacement analysis of group business as needed to determine the impact potential business will have on RevPAR. ·Ensures all Guestline systems maintenance is configured subject to current standards – rates, yield flags, and commissionable status.
